You can support the American Diabetes Association by booking your hotel room within the Scientific Sessions Housing Block through the official Housing Company, CMR. The housing deadline is May, 28th and you can view the hotels near the Convention Center on a downloadable Hotel Map.

Shuttle Bus Transportation

Attendees who reserve their room through CMR, will receive a shuttle pass upon check-in at their hotel. This enables them to ride the ADA shuttle system at no additional cost. Those who reserve rooms through other means can purchase a pass onsite at the meeting and in advance through the registration site for $50 per person. The pass is valid for the duration of the meeting. 

Here is a list of the Preliminary Shuttle Routes.  A final schedule will be available at your hotel and at the Orange County Convention Center.
